Christopher
Paul Boutros DVM, DVSc
Diplomate American College of Veterinary Surgeons
Upon
graduating from Veterinary School at Texas A & M University, Dr.
Boutros completed an internship in large animal medicine and surgery
and a 3-year equine surgical residency at the Ontario Veterinary College.
Prior to opening the Waller Equine Hospital, Dr. Boutros worked at Murdoch
University in Australia and at Texas A & M as the large animal surgery
lecturer and emergency surgeon. Dr. Boutros is originally from Houston.
Jenni D.
Schroeder, DVM
Dr. Schroeder is a native of Katy, Texas. She received her Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University. Upon graduation,
Dr. Schroeder completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery
at Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery (ESMS), a large surgical referral/racetrack
practice in Weatherford, TX. Dr. Schroeder remained on staff (ESMS)
for one year after completing the internship. Dr. Schroeder also worked
at several racetracks including Ruidoso Downs, Lone Star Park and Manor
Downs. Dr. Schroeder has been with the Waller Equine Hospital since
July 2004. Her interests include medicine, reproduction, preventative
care, and mare and foal care.
Bonner Wimberly,
DVM
Dr. Wimberly grew up in the Houston area riding and competing in the
local hunter/jumper circuit. She did her undergraduate work at Texas
A&M University and rode successfully on their Womens' Equestrian
Team for two years. After receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
degree also from Texas A&M University, she went on to complete an
internship at the renowned Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington,
Kentucky. Outside of work, Dr. Wimberly enjoys working with her own
horses as well as breeding and showing Bernese Mountain Dogs.
Dr. Jordan
Dr. Jordan grew up in a small town in central Nebraska and after graduating Broken Bow High School, he attended University of Nebraska at Lincoln to study animal science. He started veterinary school in 2001 and a year later received a B.S. degree in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources from UNL. In 2005 he earned a Doctor of Veterinary medicine degree at Kansas State University and the same year started a one year equine surgical internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. From there he came to Texas A&M University and completed a three year large animal surgery residency with an emphasis in equine surgery.

Shauna
Knapp, RVT
A graduate of the Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology, Shauna
obtained experience at the Littleton Large Animal Clinic in Littleton,
CO. She is originally from Oregon and moved to Texas to work in the
intensive care unit at Texas A&M University. She has been with Waller
Equine Hospital since its opening. Shauna runs anesthesia and is the
practice manager.
Angilene Gonzales, RVT
Angilene is the daily technician coordinator and the inventory manager.
She oversees the horses in the barn and directs the daily activity of
the technicians. Angilene received her training from the Tomball College
Veterinary Technology Program in Tomball, TX. She completed an internship
at the Waller Equine Hospital and went on to work at Tomball Veterinary
Clinic. Angilene joined our staff in August 2004. She is originally
from Magnolia, TX.

Personnell
Peggy
Brewer has been with us since the beginning of 2005. Peggy’s
family shows halter and performance horses. She is originally from Texas
and lives in Tomball with her family. She is also involved with SIRE
a nonprofit organization. Peggy handles the front office and is in charge
of client communication.
Morgan Peterman started
working for us in 2006. She started out as an evening and weekend assistant,
advanced to assistant coordinator and inventory manager, and is now
and Administrative Assistant. She is currently enrolled in Tomball college.
Assistants
Mary Jane Lambert has been with us since
2002. She started helping us when her personal horse had colic surgery
and has stayed on since. She is the weekend and evening assistant manager
and cares for in house patients.
Martin Robles has been with us since the beginning
of 2004. He is here on a greencard and is currently applying for US
citizenship. Martin works the graveyard shift caring for the in house
patients.
Vicente Villanueva has been with us since 2004. He
works the graveyard shift caring for in house patients and hospital
maintenance.
Jessica Bush has been with us since 2004. She is currently
enrolled in the pre-vet program at Tarleton . She is with us on her
breaks and is a roving assistant.
Kiersten Broussard has been with us since 2005. She
is a senior in high school and is looking applying to Tarleton and A
& M for the pre-vet program. She is an evening and weekend assistant
Pedro Deleon started volunteering here in early 2006
and was offered a part time evening and weekend position caring for
the in house patients. Pedro is applying at A & M and hoping to
pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
Amber Taylor has been with Waller Equine since the
middle of 2006. She assists all the doctors and cares for the in house
patients.
Pip White is originally from Tasmania, Australia. In
Australia she was involved in fox hunting, eventing, and English riding.
She is an evening and weekend assistant and began working for us in
April 2007.
Jessica Hayes is a junior in college and hopes to go
on to a career in veterinary medicine. She lives in fieldstore and is
an evening and weekend assistant. She started working for us in August
2007.
Sherri Bridgewater lives in Magnolia with her family. Sherry
is actively shows in halter classes with her paint horses. She is the

Caroll Hincapie was born in Columbia, South America.
She currently lives in Houston and is attending Tomball tech to obtain
her RVT license. She would like to be a veterinarian in the future.
Caroll started at the hospital November 2007 as an evening and weekend
assistant.
Amanda Garrett has been riding dressage since she was
5 years old. She currently competes at the Intermediate I level, and
hopes to one day ride in the Olympics. Amanda has been a client of Waller
Equine since 2003 and officially became an employee January 2008. She
currently is attending Blinn Junior College and hopes to one day become
a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Stephanie Bauer has been with us since February of 2008. She
currently is attending Tomball College and working toward a degree in
Veterinary Technology. She plans to attend Texas A & M to become
an equine veterinarian. She has nine years experience with handling
horses and currently has three of her own.
