Upon graduating from Veterinary School at Texas A & M University, Dr. Boutros completed an internship in large animal medicine and surgery and a 3-year equine surgical residency at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Boutros is board-certified as a specialist in equine surgery by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Prior to opening the Waller Equine Hospital, Dr. Boutros worked at Murdoch University in Australia and at Texas A & M as the large animal surgery lecturer and emergency surgeon. Dr. Boutros is originally from Houston. Outside of work, Dr. Boutros enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

Jennifer Whyard Jennifer Whyard, BVetMed, MRCVS
Diplomate American College of Veterinary Surgeons - Large Animal

Dr. Whyard’s roots stem from Long Island, New York. Across the pond she attained her Veterinary Degree at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. After vet school, Dr. Whyard completed a two-year hospital internship in the heart of British horseracing country at Newmarket Equine Hospital in the United Kingdom. She then finished a second internship in equine surgery at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her residency training in Large Animal Surgery at the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine in July 2018, and is a board certified large animal surgeon by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Whyard is keen on all aspects of large animal surgery, and has particular interests in orthopedics, sports medicine, and diagnostic imaging, with specialist training in podiatry and is an FEI permitted treating veterinarian. Outside of work, Dr. Whyard enjoys cycling, gardening, hiking with her dog and water sports.
Jael Pitts Jael Pitts, DVM

Dr. Jael Pitts grew up in the small town of Follansbee, West Virginia. She attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate studies in animal science and rural sociology. Dr. Pitts graduated from veterinary school at the University of Missouri in 2014. After graduation, she completed an equine surgery internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, KY. Dr. Pitts then returned to MU for a rotating equine medicine, ambulatory, and surgery internship. Upon completion of her internships, Dr. Pitts continued training in large animal surgery, lameness, and sports medicine through a surgical residency at the University of Missouri. During this time, she conducted research on equine hind limb lameness that culminated in a Masters of Science Degree. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery and equine lameness. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and boyfriend, Jordan and their dog, Hudson. Dr. Pitts also has an OTTB, Sangria, that she enjoys riding and competing in the hunter division.
Jenni   Schroeder Jenni D. Schroeder, DVM

Dr. Schroeder is a native of Katy, Texas. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University. Upon graduation, Dr. Schroeder completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery (ESMS), a large surgical referral/racetrack practice in Weatherford, TX. Dr. Schroeder remained on staff (ESMS) for one year after completing the internship. She also worked at several racetracks including Ruidoso Downs, Lone Star Park and Manor Downs. Dr. Schroeder has been with the Waller Equine Hospital since 2004. Her interests include medicine, reproduction, preventative care, and mare and foal care.
Erica Beadle Erica Beadle, DVM

Erica Beadle grew up in Dallas and attended Texas A&M University for undergraduate studies and veterinary school. She started riding at the age of 8 and competed in eventing. She also worked for a riding instructor in Dallas during Junior High and High School. She currently has a Welsh cob/cross gelding, Patrick, who is her retired competition horse. Dr. Beadle began her career at Waller Equine after graduating from veterinary school in 2016.  Her interests include internal medicine and preventative care. She recently started to practice acupuncture, offering alternative medicine in addition to traditional treatments.    

Bonner Baldwin Bonner Baldwin, DVM

Dr. Baldwin grew up in the Houston area riding and competing in the local hunter/jumper circuit. She did her undergraduate work at Texas A&M University and rode successfully on their Womens' Equestrian Team for two years. After receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree also from Texas A&M University in 2006, she went on to complete an internship at the renowned Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky. She began working with with Waller Equine in 2007 and backed down to part time in 2017 after having her son, Bo. Outside of work, Dr. Baldwin enjoys spending time with her family and working with her own horses as well as her Bernese Mountain Dogs.
